We would like to make some announcements regarding the meeting: * It is time to pay the registration fee. The deadline to do so has been extended to August 31st. Please follow the instructions in: http://www.margarita2007.org/registration01.html After that date, you will still be able to make your payment, but at a higher rate. * Yesterday the SOC sent notifications to the people who will receive financial support. The SOC has asked those persons to confirm as soon as possible the acceptance of the grant. If there are cancellations, the grants will be allocated to other participants. Thus, if you did not receive notification of financial support, it may still be possible for you to receive it in the next few days. * We strongly recommend to make your travel reservations as soon as possible. If you need a visa to enter Venezuela, please begin the process with the Venezuelan Embassy in your country at your earliest convenience. * We remind you to make your Hotel reservations. Please follow the procedure in: http://www.margarita2007.org/ingles/travel01.html Please make your reservations before September 30th. Otherwise you will not get the special rates for the conference. * ONLY FOR THE RECIPIENTS OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT: The LOC will be in charge of making your hotel reservations and payment at the Hotel Hesperia Isla Margarita. Once you have made your travel arrangements, please let us know the arrival and departure dates to/from Margarita. We need this information as soon as possible (and definitely BEFORE August 31st). The grant does not include any additional charges in the hotel different than the one specified in our web page (for example, phone calls, service room, room mini-bar, laundry). Each person will be responsible for those charges and the hotel may require a credit card at the moment of checking-in to cover them. We remind all that the recipients of financial support includes room and meals but each person must pay the registration fee. *The space for posters is 1.0m (wide) by 1.8m (long). Therefore, posters must be designed in portrait mode. As you can see, the vertical limit is quite flexible. It does not mean that you need to do your poster 1.8m long. Use the length you wish, but do not exceed 1.8m. We look forward to having you in beautiful Margarita Island!
