Important Deadlines:
* Abstract Submission: April 30th
* Request for Financial Support: April 30th
* Final Registration: August 31st
* Hotel Reservation: September 30th
For the final registration in the XII Latin-American IAU Regional Meeting you need to follow 3 steps BEFORE FRIDAY AUGUST 31st, 2007:
- Verify your name in the list of participants. Attendance to the meeting is limited. At the moment, only people whose submitted contributions have been accepted by the SOC can register to the conference. Please verify your name in the list of participants and check that your information is correct, If you find any error, please write to

Do not continue if your name is not in the list because the registration fee is non-refundable.
People in the waiting list must wait to be notified by us if they can register.
- Pay the registration fee. The registration fee includes registration material, coffee breaks, publication of the proceedings and social event on Thursday 25th.

Astronomers: Bs. 322.500,00 (equivalent to USD 150)
Students: Bs. 215.000,00 (equivalent to USD 100)

(The official exchange rate is 1 USD = 2150,00 Bolivars)
The registration fee cannot be reimbursed. In case of cancellation, the registration fee can be allocated to another person attending the meeting, or it can be donated to the
scholarship fund for students needing financial help.
You can pay the fee by any of the following methods:
- Credit Card: Please fill this form and fax it to +58-274-2451587. You will need to also fax both a copy of the first page of your passport (or, if your are Venezuelan, your ID card) and a copy of your credit card (both sides).

- Book your flights and make your hotel reservations. Margarita is the highest touristic destination in Venezuela. Though October is not high season, we recommend you make your travel reservations well in advance. The deadline for the hotel reservation is September 30. After this date the hotel does not guarantee neither a room nor the special rates for the participants in the meeting.
